A mother and two residents are safe after a house fire at approximately 1:15 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Tulsa Fire Department crews believe the mother was homicidal and making suicidal threats, which eventually culminated in her reportedly setting the couch on fire.
The fire then spread to the rest of the home, located on the 100 block of North Marion. The fire was out shortly before 1:30 a.m., and all three residents were able to evacuate the burning home.
Red Cross was called to the scene, and the mother was taken by EMSA for evaluation.
