The past week, the city of Tulsa has recorded over 2" of rain, which was a very welcome site to our sore eyes. However, it was a drop in the bucket (pun intended) compared to what we really need.
Tulsa is still officially 2" below normal on rainfall for the month of May and nearly 8" for the year. Now, we don't necessarily need to make up all of the 8" for the year, but if we could cut that in half within the next 30 days, then we would be in much better shape.
Luckily, there is a chance for more rain Friday and Saturday, and potentially a few more storms opportunities next week.
