Thunder Hold On To Beat Hornets

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook combined for 91 of the Oklahoma City's 124 points in Sunday night's overtime thriller against the Denver Nuggets. Monday night against the Hornets, the dynamic duo was a little off.{} They "JUST" scored 61 points between the two.

KD and Westbrook share the top scoring honor with 31 points.{} Oklahoma City was playing without an injured James Hardin and Nick Collison.

The Hornets battle back from a 26 point deficit to pull within six in the fourth quarter, but the Thunder holds on to beat New Orleans, 101-93.

The star of the game was Kendrick Perkins with 13 rebounds and six blocks.

The Thunder have Tuesday off before facing the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers in a back-to-backer Wednesday and Thursday.

The Boston game tips off at 6:00pm and the Lakers game gets underway at 8:30pm.
