Toddler Hurt In Accidental Shooting
A toddler is hurt in what Tulsa police are calling an accidental shooting.
It happened Friday afternoon near Admiral and Pittsburg.
According to police, a 3-year-old boy and an adult were in the back room of a home on east 1st Street.
Somehow the gun went off and the boy was hit in the thigh. Paramedics rushed him to the hospital for treatment. He's expected to survive.
Investigators got conflicting reports from those in the house when the shooting happened. Police said they'll have to ask more questions before deciding whether or not to file charges.
The adult involved was not the child's parent, police said.
