TPD: Two Burglary Suspects on the Loose

Tulsa Police are looking for two burglary suspects after a woman reportedly caught them trying to break into her home late Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were called to a home in the 1500 block of E. 77th St. around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday on a report of an attempted burglary.

A woman told officers she was inside her house when she heard someone removing the screen from a rear window. She saw the suspects and yelled that she was going to call police.

The suspects ran from the area and about an hour later, police were called to a burglary in the area of 7700 S. Trenton Ave., just south of the first attempt.

A neighbor told police that she saw two suspects, matching the description of the pair from the attempted burglary, walking around the second victim's home.

The suspects are said to be in their early 20s, about 5'8" and 160 lbs. One was a black male wearing a blue shirt and dark pants, the other was a white or Hispanic male wearing a white shirt and black shorts.
