50 year old Jerry Williams died as a result of a fire that broke out in his mobile home in north Tulsa.
Crews were called out to the trailer home around 4 a.m. near 5500 E. Oklahoma.
An eyewitness told us that she and a friend were driving by when she saw flames. She stopped to help a man, with burns on his feet and hands, while her friend, tried to break a window, to rescue Williams, who was still inside.
"It was very frightening I'm very shaken up to see that. I never had to call 911 and see someone burned. It was very traumatic," said Kristen Yacinda.
Williams' family says he was a faithful man, who had attended church the night before. They believe the fire was electrical, however, firefighters have not determined what started the fire.
Williams' roommate, was taken by EMSA to a hospital, no word on his condition.
