Triple Shooting Suspects Back in Court, Trial Date Set

Two Tulsa men arrested in connection with a triple shooting last year were back in court Thursday morning.Everett Wilson, 21, and Ronnie Jones, 23, are facing a laundry list of charges related to a shooting at an apartment complex near 63rd and Owasso that resulted in the death of Shametra Fields last September.Both were initially charged with first-degree murder, but prosecutors later dropped that charge against Wilson.He's now facing three counts of shooting with intent to kill and robbery with a firearm.Thursday, Judge William Kellough arraigned Wilson, who entered a plea of not guilty, and set a jury trial for March 10th, 2014.Jones, meanwhile, is being held on a first-degree murder charge along with three counts of shooting with intent to kill, burglary and robbery.A motion to quash by Jones' attorney was taken under advisement Thursday. He will be back in court July 22nd for a decision.
