Troopers Open Portion of Muskogee Turnpike Following Collision
State troopers have reopened a portion of the Muskogee Turnpike Tuesday morning following collisions between some semi trucks and cars.OHP reported two semi trucks and two cars crashed late Monday evening at mile marker 27, just one mile south of the Highway 69 interchange. One truck was carrying pipe which spilled everywhere, while the other was hauling cattle.Around 8 a.m. officials announced that the turnpike was back open northbound from Muskogee to Tulsa, according to a release. It took authorities an estimated 9 hours to clear the scene of the accident.A photo courtesy of muskogeenow.com shows the semi hauling cattle on its side off on the road.
