TU Women Fall At UCF, 54-48

Orlando, Fla. - The Tulsa women's basketball team dropped a 54-48 decision to UCF on Thursday night at UCF Arena in Orlando, Fla.{}{}The Golden Hurricane fell to 9-11 on the season and 4-5 in Conference USA, while the Knights moved to 10-11 overall and 5-4 in the league.

Taleya Mayberry had a team-leading 13 points, followed by Taylor Hooker with seven, and Tiffani Couisnard and Jessica McQuin with six each.{}{}Mariah Turner and Kadan Brady both came in off the bench and added five points.{}{}Couisnard pulled down double-digit rebounds with 10 and Hooker had eight boards.

The Knights were led by a trio of players in double figures, including 14 by Gevenia Carter, 13 by Kayli Keough and 12 by Aisha Patrick.{}{}Patrick also pulled down a team-high 11 rebounds, while Erika Jones had 10.{}

Tulsa will return to action on Sunday, February 5th{}against Houston.{} That game is set for 2:00 pm at the Reynolds Center.
