TU Women Get Road Win At Tulane

      Four Tulsa women's basketball players scored in double figures to lead the Golden Hurricane to a 72-59 win over Tulane on Thursday night at Fogelman Arena in New Orleans, La.{}{}The Golden Hurricane moved to 12-13 on the season and 7-7 in Conference USA, while the Green Wave fell to 19-8 overall and 8-6 in the league.

      Four Tulsa players scored in double figures, including 17 by Taleya Mayberry, 13 by Mariah Turner, and 11 each by Tiffani Couisnard and Chanice Scott.{}{}Turner and Scott also posted a team-high six rebounds, while Taylor Hooker had seven steals and Mayberry had five assists.{}

      The Golden Hurricane had 19 steals in the contest, the most since earning 20 steals against Rice on January 29, 2009.{}{}Tulsa had a 19-7 lead in steals, while Tulane had a 38-31 advantage in rebounds and a 7-1 lead in blocks.

      The Green Wave was led by Olivia Grayson with 17 points, while Janique Kautsky and Brett Benzio each had nine.{}{}Dale, Benzio and Grayson all had seven rebounds, while Benzio had three blocks.{}

      Tulsa will return to action on Sunday, February 26th{}against Memphis.{}{}Game time is set for 2:00 pm at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse in Memphis, Tenn.
