Hundreds of Tulsa-area runners turned out Monday night to show their support for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. Fleet Feet Sports hosted a 2- or 5-mile fun run and walk at both of their locations in Downtown and south Tulsa."The running community in Tulsa is strong and when you hit one of us, like you did in Boston, you hit us all," says Sand Springs runner Sharon Weaver. "We need to show our support."The main goal was to raise money for victims and their families by selling t-shirts that say "We Are Unstoppable--Boston.""Being from Oklahoma, what happened in 1995, we kind of relate to that and to what happened," adds Zach Mark, Sapulpa runner. We're told the event was a big success.Fleet Feet is ordering more t-shirts after they sold out. KTUL.com has learned they made $9,700 to help the victims though the One Fund.
