Tulsa Baby Dies From Bacterial Meningitis
A Tulsa baby died Friday from bacterial meningitis.
Health officials have tested everyone who came in contact with the child. No one is reporting symptoms yet.
Symptoms might not appear for two to 10 days, according to the Health Department.
Symptoms of meningitis can include: fever, rash, headache, stiff neck, nausea, vomiting, or fatigue. Infants may be irritable, very drowsy, very fussy, or refuse to eat, according to the State Health Department's website.
