The odds of getting called to the courthouse for jury duty are going up in Tulsa County.
The court clerk is sending out more notices. About 800 people will be called to the courthouse every Monday. That's 125 more people than in the past.
Courthouse staff says they were not finding enough people to take care of all the cases.
If you are called, it's best to get there early to make sure you get a seat.
"Although the irony of it is that we had a remodeled our jury room," says Sally Howe Smith, Tulsa County Court Clerk. "It was finished in August, but now we don't have enough seating with the additional jurors that were called. But it will get back to a little more normal."
Potential jury members are chosen from drivers license records.
