Tulsa Courthouse Shooter Due In Court

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - A 24-year-old man accused of opening fire outside a Tulsa courthouse is due in court this week.
Andrew Dennehy faces charges of shooting with intent to kill and firearms counts. He's due in court Wednesday.
Dennehy is accused in the March shooting that injured a sheriff's deputy and a bystander.
Dennehy's parents say their son is a paranoid schizophrenic who needs hospital treatment, not a maximum-security prison.
Jurors in August found that Dennehy was mentally fit to face the charges. Dennehy's attorney has argued that his client has bizarre thoughts and suffered delusions so severe that he was unable to assist in his own defense. Prosecutor Tony Evans said Dennehy was bluffing.
