Tulsa Family Searches for Handicap Van Stolen from Quadriplegic

A handicap van stolen from an East Tulsa home Tuesday has a family on edge -- and hoping the public can help spot the vehicle.

The van belongs to Marty, who is a quadriplegic and only had liability insurance on the vehicle, with no way to replace it.

According to a police report that was filed, it was stolen sometime between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night from the area of 3800 E 108th E. Ave, near 36th and Garnett.

The minivan is described as a white 1996 Ford Windstar, tag number 026-GNH. It is equipped with a wheelchair ramp.

If you see it, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
