Fire crews were at the scene in a north Tulsa neighborhood Monday morning after a fire broke out in a home there.
It happened just around 8 a.m. when Tulsa Fire responded to the area of 740 N. 29th W. Ave.
According to an official at the scene, firefighters went into the house to perform a search and rescue but did not find anyone.
Fire crews believe a floor furnace is to blame for the fire due to it working overtime. Firefighters told KTUL.com that the house sustained considerable damage during the fire.
Red Cross volunteers also were at the scene providing assistance to the older couple who owned the house.
