Tulsa Homeowner Escapes Burning House

House fire on N. 43rd W. Ave

A Tulsa homeowner was able to safely escape their burning house Monday morning.

Firefighters responded to a home on 43rd. W. Ave. around 10 a.m. after callers said they saw smoke and flames shooting from the back of the house.

TFD responded with a "full assignment," which consists of four engines, one ladder truck and a squad.

A homeowner was asleep inside, when his daughter came home, saw the fire and woke him.

No one was injured.

The fire spread slightly to the attic and damaged the back of the home.

Fire officials are investigating what may have caused the fire.
