Tulsa Is Ready For Arkansas' Tyler Wilson

The University of Tulsa has a big football game this weekend. The Golden Hurricane will try to beat an SEC team for the first time since 1979.

TU is renewing an ole rivalry with Arkansas.

The Tulsa defense has had their issues defending the pass over the last few weeks and they will be tested Saturday by Razorback quarterback Tyler Wilson.

But former Channel 8 sports intern, Lowell Rose says he's up for the challenge.

"It's very exciting anytime you get a chance to go up against a guy who's slated to be a top draft pick." TU Defensive Back Lowell Rose said, "He's got scouts talking about him. As a defense we see that as an opportunity to make a big name for ourselves."

The Golden Hurricane are looking for their first win against Arkansas since 1996. TU head Coach Bill Blankenhsip was a redshirt sophomore that year for TU.

Tulsa and Arkansas kickoff in Fayetteville Saturday at 11:21.
