Tulsa Locksmith Gunned Down After Argument Over Payment

Tulsa Police want to find the person who shot and killed a locksmith in cold blood.

Investigators say the victim was murdered by the customer who called him out to he Beckett Ridge Apartments near 51st and Memorial early Wednesday morning.

Police believe the two got into a disagreement over payment after the locksmith completed the job. Investigators told Channel 8's Kim Jackson, the locksmith is a 21-year-old man. The argument apparently began when the victim raised his estimate from $60 dollars before the job to $100 dollars after the job was complete.

Detectives have detained a person of interest in the case, but the suspect or suspects is still on the loose.
