Sooners linebacker Corey Nelson put off a season ending knee surgery until this week so he could be on the sideline for the Texas game and help his replacement Dominique Alexander. The true freshman from Booker T Washington showed flashes of things to come leading the Sooners in tackles against the Longhorns. But head coach Bob Stoops says he's still a work in progress. "Dominique had 19 tackles. A young guy in there is really doing well." said Stoops, "Early on he was out of position on a third down and on an early run a time or two. But for the most part he's going to keep getting better."The 18th ranked Sooners will try to rebound this Saturday as they travel to Lawrence to face the Kansas Jayhawks. Kickoff is set for 2:30pm.
