The University of Tulsa is has one of the best rushing attacks in the country. They are 12th in the nation in rushing offense with an average of almost 245-yards a contest.
The bulk of the rushing attack is split up between three guys: Ja'Terian Douglas, Trey Watts and Alex Singleton. All quality backs.
But the biggest key to the Golden Hurricane rushing success probably comes from up front with the offensive line.
"If that chemistry for them is good, it really doesn't matter who's behind them. If that chemistry isn't very good, it really doesn't matter who's behind them. Because they're going to struggle." TU Head Coach Bill Blankenship said, "So we're in a pretty good place right now because our offensive line is playing well with talented running backs behind them. That's a good place to be in terms of a starting point for an offense."
The Golden Hurricane are 4-1 and currently have a four-game winning streak. Tulsa heads on the road for the second straight week when they travel to Marshall to face the Thundering Herd Saturday at 2:30pm.
