Tulsa Police Arrest Man for Threatening Mom with Knife

A Tulsa man was arrested early Thursday morning after getting into an altercation with his mother because she would not sell her food stamps and give the money to him.

According to the police report, the suspect threw a chair into the television and pulled a knife on his mom before she was able to lock him out of the home.

The suspect, Bryan Gilliam, had an outstanding warrant out of Iron County, Missouri.

Gilliam was arrested on complaints of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and for being a fugitive from justice.

He is being held on $140,000 bond.
