Tulsa Police Arrest Man With Federal Warrants After Police Chase Ends In Midtown Crash

Tulsa Police have arrested a man on the run after he ran from officers.Police say they tried to pull him over for not wearing a seat belt when he took off speeding down Utica.Officers were about to stop chasing him when he crashed out near 5th & Gillette. That's between Lewis and Utica.The driver went over an embankment and through tree limbs into someone's yard. The homeowner was not there at the time, but came home to find him crashed on her lawn.Officers found out the federal marshals were looking for the man for probation violations and burglary charges.He and his passenger were hauled off by EMSA on back braces.KTUL.com will pass along the man's name as soon as we can confirm it.
