Tulsa Police Crack Down On Busy Expressways
The Tulsa Police Department announces they will be cracking down on two busy expressways during the whole month of March.
Motorcycle officers will be randomly patrolling the Broken Arrow Expressway (US 64/OK 51) and the Mingo Valley Expressway (US 169).
Police will be paying special attention to any marked construction zones on the highways.
No warnings will be issued. A ticket will cost from $150-$500 and/or 10 days in jail.
Drivers are reminded to put down their cell phones when driving in construction zones.
Officers say they are trying to cut down on crashes in the area.
