Tulsa Police Investigating Attempted Abduction

A neighbor captured the encounter with her surveillance video

Tulsa police officers are investigating an alleged attempted abduction of two young girls that occurred yesterday in a neighborhood near 3500 South Louisville.

Two girls, 9 and 11-years-old, were outside selling lemonade at a lemonade stand when a man allegedly approached them.

The suspect bought lemonade and then continued to talk to the girls, reportedly trying to lure them closer to his vehicle.

The girls maintained a distance because they suspected something wasn't right.

The man then said something along the lines of "Why don't you come with me if you want to make some more money. I have a studio we could go to," Jillian Roberson of TPD said.

Surveillance video captured the vehicle, what TPD believes to be a gold Nissan Maxima. The suspect is described as an older white male with a thin build and beard.
