Tulsa police are looking for a suspect after a man attempted to sexually assault a woman at an East Tulsa church around 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The victim told police that a man was sitting inside the church, located in the area of 15300 East 21st Street, when she entered the building, according to a press release.
He reportedly approached her asking to speak with the pastor. As she turned away from him, he attacked and dragged her to another room where he attempted to sexually assault her.
When the victim screamed for help, she says the suspect let her go and ran out of the church. Tulsa police say he left on foot but don't know what direction he ran.
They released surveillance photos of the suspect and hope to get the public's help identifying him.
The suspect is described as a muscular white male with brown hair in his late 20s or early 30s and between 5'6" and 5'8" in height. He was wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.
