One Dead in North Tulsa Shooting, Suspect in Custody

A man is dead and another is in custody following a shooting in northeast Tulsa, Thursday night.

Police arrested 42-year-old Mark Hopkins in connection with the case. Officers were called to the Landing Apartment complex just before 9 p.m. Thursday.

According to police, 18-year-old Chaz Fain and three others were at a gathering inside one of the units.

Investigators said Hopkins opened fire hitting all four victims. Fain died from his injuries. The other three should recover.

The Landings Apartment complex is across the street Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology. Spartan students are among the residents who live there, and police said, everyone involved in the shooting knew each other through class work.
