Some Tulsa citizens are not too happy about oncoming Tulsa Transit fare increases.
Because the City of Tulsa has announced that its funding toward Tulsa Transit will decrease by 10%, price hikes are expected.
Tulsan Kamina Harris said she rides the bus when she goes to the grocery store, pays her bills, or goes to the doctor's office. She said she rides the bus three or four times a week. But she recognized she has no choice but to move along with the rate increase.
"I guess we just have to deal with it," Harris said. Harris also said she wants to see Tulsa Transit active seven days a week.
