Tulsa Women Continue March Through C-USA Tournament

The University of Tulsa women's basketball team continues their march through the Conference USA Tournament Thursday in downtown Tulsa. TU beats Tulane 75-67.The Golden Hurricane jumped out to big lead early, but then the Green Wave started hitting shots. Tulane build an 11-point first half lead and then Tulsa came back and cut it to five at the break.TU had a really balanced attack offensively with four players in double figures led by senior point guard Taleya Mayberry. The Booker T. Washington product had 21-points.In the second half, Tulsa fixed some rebounding issues and pulled away from Green Wave to win by eight.The Golden Hurricane ladies travel over to the BOK Center for the final two games of the Conference USA Championships. They take on East Carolina Friday at 12:30pm.
