With age comes wisdom and that's no truer than for one resident at the Tulsa Zoo celebrating her 62nd year of life Friday.
Gunda, an Asian elephant, will celebrate her birthday Friday and the Tulsa Zoo will celebrate with a giant-sized birthday cake in her honor. She was born in 1950 and was the zoo's first elephant when she first arrived back in 1954.
Weighing at 6,800 lbs, Gunda is the zoo's oldest resident, according to the zoo's press release.
In celebration of her birthday, the zoo will give free admission to the 62nd person to enter the park.
