This one doesn't use a machine -- you just mix it up and use the freezer.Basic Vanilla Ice Cream1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk1/2 cup half and half1/4 tsp. salt2 tablespoons vanilla2 cups whipping creamIn a large bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk with the half and half, salt and vanilla. Stir to blend.In another bowl, whip the whipping cream until soft peaks form. Fold the whipped cream into the sweetened condensed milk mixture. Place in a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Cover and freeze 6 hours or until firm.
