Tulsans to Protest Gaza Conflict
It's a bloody, international conflict that has got residents talking in Tulsa.
The Gaza conflict continues to rage on and some Green Country residents are planning to protest what they believe to be Israeli war crimes.
The protest is scheduled to take place later today on the northwest corner of 71st and Memorial from 4 to 6 p.m.
A press release says protestors are opposing "Israel's violent collective punishment and brutal killing of Palestinian civilians."
Israel's prime minister says the Israel Defense Force is fighting terrorism.
CNN reports that recently, a UN shelter in northern Gaza was hit, killing 16 people and wounding hundreds more. The Gaza health ministry has reported more than 800 people have died and more than 5,200 have been injured. An Israeli military representative told CNN the violence has killed 32 soldiers and three civilians.
