Tulsa's Met Helping Residents Get Rid of Election Season Material

Residents looking to put this election season behind them can do so with the help of the Metropolitan Environmental Trust.

The M.e.t. will be collecting campaign yard signs at designated drop-off locations beginning today. Currently, there are 13 centers located around the Tulsa area and in surrounding communities.

"The M.e.t. wants to help people recycle things that they wouldn't even think to recycle," said Annie Brady, creative media director at the M.e.t. "We want to encourage people to clean up their communities in any way possible."

According to the press release, citizens can bring any kind of sign to The M.e.t. centers. Workers will then separate the metal from the other materials and make sure they are properly recycled.

For more information on locations or the M.e.t., visit their website at http://metrecycle.com/recycling/met-centers/.
