Two Men Robbed at Gunpoint At East Tulsa Apartment Complex
Police are investigating an armed robbery in East Tulsa after two men were robbed at gunpoint by two other men late Wednesday night.It happened at the Alexis Park Apartments near 41st and 129th E. Ave. around 11:40 p.m. Wednesday.Police said the victims were approached by two men as they were walking from their car to their home after getting off work.They were robbed at gunpoint of their cell phones and wallets, totaling about $300, police said.The suspects took off north from the apartment complex and were able to get away.The suspects are described as two black males, 17 to 21 years old. One was wearing a black shirt and black pants, the other was in a red shirt and black pants. They were between 5'8 to 5'10, slender build, and armed with a black automatic pistol. The victims told police they had been initially been suspicious of the men because of the area in which they were walking and parked in a different location, but were met after getting out of their vehicle. "The suspects doubled back on them, and they couldn't have foreseen that," said Officer Patrick Stevens on the scene.
