Three Quakes, Including a Magnitude 4.3, Rattle Near Langston

Three earthquakes have rattled near Langston and Guthrie in the last day.

At approximately 12:11 p.m. today, a magnitude 4.3 struck four miles southwest of Langston, the United States Geological Survey reports.

It had a depth of 3.7 miles and its epicenter was eight miles east of Guthrie.

The most recent earthquake was a magnitude 3.0, which had an epicenter four miles southeast of Guthrie and a depth of 3.1 miles. It was reported at 12:34 p.m. today.

Friday at approximately 6:27 p.m., the USGS reported a magnitude 3.2 quake five miles southwest of Langston and six miles of east of Guthrie. Its depth was 3.1 miles.
