Two teenagers are dead after their vehicle reportedly struck a retaining wall and caught fire shortly after 5:30 a.m. this morning in Caddo County.
The report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol says that the vehicle was heading westbound on State Highway 19 and swerved left of center and departed the roadway to the left. The vehicle then continued for 315 feet before hitting the retaining wall and catching fire.
Both the driver and the passenger were pinned for around three hours.
The driver was Dexter Wade Palmer of Apache. He was 19-years-old. Kelsey Renee Palmer, 18, was the passenger. She was also from Apache.
Both individuals were pronounced dead on scene.
