US-169/SH-266 Junction - Lane Closures, Detours Friday

Drivers should plan ahead for closures and detours at the US-169/SH-266 (46th St. North) junction from 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday.Crews will remove the old westbound SH-266 bridge over US-169 as a part of an ongoing interchange improvement project.US-169 speed limits will decrease to 25 mph, and all north and southbound lanes will close. Traffic will detour to the ramps of SH-266 during this time.SH-266 will direct all east and westbound lanes to SH-167, I-244/US-412, US-169, 36th St. North and Mingo Rd. around this closure.After 6 a.m. Monday, east and westbound SH-266 will shift to the new eastbound bridge; traffic narrowed to one lane in each direction until further notice. US-169 will open and be fully accessible. East and Westbound SH-266 traffic will remain narrowed to one lane in each direction on the westbound bridge, until these changes occur.Significant delays are expected, and drivers should avoid the area if possible.
