Waiting Child: At the Zoo With Branquez and D'fabio

Questions and amazement were aplenty at the Tulsa Zoo as Branquez and D'Fabio got a tour and close and personal experiences with some of the animals.

The two brothers, 12 and 9, are polite, friendly, and obviously inquisitive.{} And now, after this visit, they're big fans of the Tulsa Zoo.

{}D'Fabio says his favorite part was petting animals.{} Both brothers are excited about returning to school.{} Branquez, who starts sixth grade, is very responsible for his age. He says, "I like to spend time reading my Bible.{} Helping out with chores and things that need to be done. Mowing, sweeping, vacuuming."

D'Fabio doesn't list chores as one of his favorite things.{} Reading, however, rates very high. "I read Alex Ryder. He's an agent, I really like agent books," says D'Fabio.

{}Both boys admit to thinking about being adopted, Branquez more so than D'Fabio, but he still has questions. He wants a loving family that has kids.

If your family has a place in your heart and home, Branquez and D'Fabio are ready for a home.{} If you are interested in the boys or any of the children we've featured on Waiting Child, call 1-800-376-9729.
