City crews are working to repair a water line that broke Thursday morning in west Tulsa.
An initial report states that the 12-inch line broke before 8 a.m. near 51st Street and 33rd West Avenue.
Officials at the City of Tulsa told KTUL that crews are currently working to turn the water off. Two vehicles were found stranded in the area because of the flooded roadway.
At this time six residents and one business are without water. It is uncertain what caused the line to break.
Crews are expected to repair the line and restore water Thursday evening. Drivers are urged to seek an alternate route until the water level subsides.
