A water main break in west Tulsa has left some residents without service Wednesday morning.
Crews have been working on the break in the area of 23rd and Maybelle after a 16-inch line ruptured.
Initial reports stated that city officials believed it was originally a 6-inch line, but were corrected once crews began repairs. In the area workers have closed the outside lane on 23rd.
Two apartment complexes and a shopping center were affected by the break. Recent winter weather is believed to be the cause for the break.
The city said, the break is expected to be repaired with water service restored by around 9 p.m.
