It appears wet weather is heading towards Oklahoma. From Sunday into Wednesday, there will be be a pretty good chance for showers and thunderstorms in the area.
Right now, early indications are that most areas could pick up between a half inch to an inch and a half with locally higher amounts. The map posted with this story indicates the possibility of up to 2" in Tulsa.
However, our data has been a bit bullish lately and so we must temper our expectations to some degree. The whole region desperately needs rain, so this would be great for the area. It's not a drought buster (the way it appears at this minute) but, it will provide for some relief.
