Woman Accused of Offering Sexual Acts at Tulsa Spa

A Tulsa woman was taken into custody Wednesday evening after soliciting an undercover officer with a sexual act.

An officer with the Tulsa Police Department's Vice Unit arrested Vone Phantirath around 9 p.m. Wednesday at a midtown spa. She was booked on complaints of soliciting an act of prostitution and maintaining a house of prostitution.

According to the arrest report, an undercover officer went to the spa after the unit received information about potential prostitution. When he arrived at the spa he met Phantirath, who addressed herself as "Kathy."

The undercover officer wrote that Phantirath offered him a half-hour massage for $40. When she was finished with the massage she offered to perform "sexual acts for additional money."

Phantirath told the officer how much each act would be and he agreed to pay her a certain amount, according to the release. After she pulled out a condom and removed his towel, the officer proceeded to excuse himself and messaged the vice officers waiting outside the business.

It was later determined that Phantirath owns and operates the spa located 1000 feet from a local church. She is due in court next week.
