Woman Carjacked Outside Walgreens Parking Lot

Police are looking for a male suspected Friday morning after a carjacking incident at a Walgreens in north Tulsa.

Tulsa Police were called to the area after receiving word that a woman had her vehicle stolen. This was around 8:30 a.m. at 45th and North Peoria.

Authorities stated that the woman was in her vehicle in the parking lot of the store when a male approached her. He reportedly asked for money and she told him she had none.

It was then that the suspect pointed a handgun at her and demanded any money she had and for her vehicle. She got out and the suspect left the scene in her car.

Detectives are now canvassing the area for the suspect and looking over surveillance video. The stolen vehicle was described as being a gray Kia Optima with South Dakota plates.
