A woman was transported to an area hospital with a gunshot wound Friday morning after a shooting in north Tulsa.
Initial reports state that the shooting took place around 2 a.m. near the 4200 block of North Hartford. At the scene, a woman was found with a single gunshot wound to the abdomen and at least 30 shell casings in the area from different firearms.
Authorities told KTUL that the woman was reportedly walking to a house when the shots were fired. Her identity was not released at this time.
Investigators with the Tulsa Police Department have no details about who the shooters are and if they were actually targeting the woman.
Emergency paramedics provided treatment to the woman. She was in stable condition.
