A 51-year-old Catoosa woman was transported to a Tulsa area hospital this week after being hit by an all-terrain vehicle at the Rocklahoma Music Festival.
Emergency paramedics responded Thursday evening to the festival grounds two miles north of Pryor after receiving information that a woman had been struck by a vehicle.
Troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol located the woman and provided assistance. Initial information states that she had been walking in the middle of the roadway when the all-terrain vehicle hit her.
At this time it is believe that the vehicle was traveling at an "unsafe speed" when it struck the woman, according to the release.
Paramedics transported the woman with arm and leg injuries to St. John's in Tulsa.
