Looking to trim a few pounds this summer? The YWCA is making a push for Tulsans to get healthy and fit with "Get Fit Week" from June 23-28.
The YWCA says it has tripled the square footage available for exercise this week, and there will be more space for weight, cardio and group fitness classes.
Those who join the YWCA during "Get Fit Week" will not have to pay a join fee. When the week of exercise is over, the YWCA's east Tulsa and midtown Tulsa locations will have parties to celebrate.
Swimming pools will be open and yoga and Zumba classes will be available for those looking to improve their fitness.
The east YWCA location is at 8145 East 17th St. while the midtown location is at 1910 S. Lewis Ave.
