Officers Reportedly Shoot, Kill Man with Knife in West Tulsa

Authorities have confirmed that there has been a deadly officer-involved shooting this morning just after 3 a.m.

Police responded to a stabbing call on the 300 block of North 25th West Avenue, and on scene, police say a man came out of a home in the area holding a knife.

Tulsa police say the white male victim stabbed himself after an argument with people inside a home. The victim reportedly repeatedly refused all commands from officers after he came outside the home and became aggressive towards officers. Three officers then fired at him. He was shot multiple times and did not survive.

Homicide sergeant Dave Walker is on scene investigating.
