Tulsa police think a 'mummy' robbery suspect may have struck again in west Tulsa this morning.
A few minutes before 11:30 a.m., a suspect with a gauze bandage around his face reportedly entered Everyone's Cash, located at 1423 W. 51st St., and demanded cash from the clerk.
The clerk told police the suspect placed a device on the counter -- and that the device looked like clay with wires sticking out of it. The clerk complied and the suspect escaped with cash.
The suspect was said to be in his late 20's or early 30's between 5'5" and 5'7" with a blue shirt and black pants on. The clerk told police he had a dark complexion and black hair. Police tell us that the suspect, who had gauze around his face, fits the description of past robberies, but police are still working to confirm it is the same suspect.
