Arrest Made in Saturday North Tulsa Shootings

Tulsa police have made an arrest after responding to multiple shooting scenes in north Tulsa Saturday afternoon.

Dajuan Smith, 18, was arrested on three counts of shooting with intent to kill. Police say he showed disregard for the safety of anyone in the area.

On the 3100 block of North Hartford, over 20 bullet casings lined the street. Authorities said an adult male was reportedly shot in the back and he is in stable condition.

At 4351 N. Elgin near Hawthorne Elementary, police say there was a baby present in a car that was sprayed with bullets. That baby and an adult in the vehicle that was shot up were transported to an area hospital. No one was hit by gunfire, but the baby was hit by flying glass, police say.

The victim at 4351 N. Elgin drove away from the original crime scene, which was 3300 N. Lansing.
