2 hospitalized after shooting in Mounds
MOUNDS, Okla. (KTUL) —
The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office is investigating after they received a shots fired call near East 181st Street South and South Peoria Avenue in Mounds.
When deputies arrived, they found two victims who had been shot.
TCSO says an 18-year-old moved in with a friend and filed a protective order against her step-father.
Deputies say the step-father followed the teen to her friend's house and when he got out of his vehicle, the friend's father came outside and warned him to leave.
Both men had guns and started firing shots at each other.
Deputies say the step-father was hit in the stomach and the friend's father was hit in the arm. Both were transported to a nearby hospital.
According to the sheriff's office, their wounds do not appear life threatening.
